The Success in Sobriety Business Program is designed to reward participants who have demonstrated dedication and perseverance by completing 500 hours of service through our Paws for Healing: Animal-Assisted Therapy Program. This milestone opens the door to advanced opportunities that further support their recovery journey and help them achieve their professional and entrepreneurial goals.

Program Highlights:

• Eligibility Criteria:

  • Participants who reach the 500-hour service milestone through their volunteer work with rescue dogs are eligible for two advanced programs: 

    • Paw-ways to Employment

    • Recovery to Enterprise

• Paw-ways to Employment:

  • Objective: To assist individuals in finding meaningful and supportive employment opportunities within the recovery community.

  • Services Provided:

    • Job Matching: Connect participants with recovery-friendly employers who understand and support their journey.

    • Career Coaching: Offer guidance on resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies.

    • Employment Support:Provide ongoing support to ensure successful integration into the workplace and promote long-term employment stability.

• Recovery to Enterprise:

  • Objective: To empower individuals in recovery to start and sustain their own businesses with comprehensive support.

  • Services Provided:

    • Business Startup Services: Offer no-cost assistance with essential business elements, including website building, marketing materials, and digital marketing services.

    • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide expert advice and mentorship to help participants navigate the entrepreneurial landscape and achieve business success.

    • Resource Access: Ensure access to valuable resources and tools to facilitate business growth and sustainability.

    • Participants who achieve 500 hours of service are formally recognized and invited to join one of the advanced programs.
